What's on.

ALL ABILITY SPORTS HUB

The All Ability Sports Hub is a welcoming and inclusive space where people in our community living with disabilities can come together to enjoy sport, build confidence, and stay active. Held weekly at Gisborne Girls High Gym, the hub offers a range of accessible activities such as boccia, modified football, and other adaptive sports. It’s a great opportunity to try new activities, meet new people, and have fun in a supportive environment. Best of all, it’s free and open to anyone in the community living with a disability. Come along, get involved, and discover what’s possible through sport.

Have-A-Go Adaptive Swimming

The Have a Go Swimming session is a welcoming and inclusive opportunity for people in our community living with disabilities to enjoy time in the water, build confidence, and have fun. Held at Kiwa Pools and supported by experienced coaches from Comet Swimming Club, this free session is open to all abilities and provides a supportive environment where participants can develop their swimming skills, build water confidence, and enjoy being active. Whether you're a confident swimmer or simply keen to give it a go, everyone is encouraged to join in. Come along, make a splash, meet new people, and enjoy a fun afternoon at the pool. With enough interest from participants and families, we hope to continue offering regular swimming sessions throughout the term.
